Nevidio carries the title of one of the most attractive canyons of the Old Continent. It is also one of the last ones discovered, as it was fully explored only in 1965. It is located in the Northern part of Montenegro about 100km away from the countrie’s capital, Podgorica. The breathtaking canyon was carved out by river Komarnica which seems to be disapperaing between the rocks making itself „invisble“ which is how it got its name (the name is derived from a Montenegrin word nevidljiv, meaning invisible). We have been doing tours through this canyon for more than a decade and have so far completed 400 of them.
