Driving to Pljevlja via the Đurđevića Tara Bridge

The most scenic route to Pljevlja runs over Durmitor. From Žabljak the road descends toward the Tara Canyon, and after about 20-25 km you reach the Đurđevića Tara Bridge. The bridge rises around 170 metres above the river and offers spectacular views of the canyon. From there, the road continues north to Pljevlja.

From Podgorica you can drive via Kolašin and Mojkovac to the bridge, then continue on to Pljevlja or Žabljak. Roads are paved but winding, so allow extra time. If you'd rather not drive, we offer private transfers across Montenegro - contact us.
